Probably the largest cluster of beach access points is along A1A between Jupiter’s Carlin Park and the Juno Beach Pier. The paths swoop to the shore through hedges of sea grapes and gnarly trees. One favorite is along the dog-friendly beach just south of the Jupiter Reef Club. When you walk up to Beach Access No. 51, you face a disorienting hole: the boardwalk is a straight sheer drop into a sand trail. At the bottom, you duck under a beautiful canopy of sea grapes that leads to the bright sunlight of the beach. It’s like emerging from a cave. Exploring the accesses is a fun way to exercise and break up an A1A stroll. A major plus is plenty of free parking along the road, or in nearby lots.
